SPLINTERED IN THE TRACE (FILM)
Splintered in the Trace (2025) | Film
Splintered in the Trace (Film) is a poetic experimental short, shot on digital and super 8 cameras. The film investigates memory and human connection and examines the temporality of the chance encounter. Through the use of stylised characters and props, the film seeks to dive into memories of and desires for meeting points, aligning and dividing us in motion.
Blurb
After watching a TV talk about recapturing past encounters, a man searches the city through his space visor, whilst a puppeteer tries to summon a missed romantic connection.
